Two athletes cleared 2.04m in the women's high jump final at the World Athletics Championships in Doha on Monday. Russia's Mariya Lasitskene won her third high jump world title with an incredible 2.04m clearance. 18-year-old Yaroslava Mahuchikh of Ukraine also cleared 2.0.4m to win silver on a countback and to set a new a U20 high jump world record.

Women's pole vault: World Athletics Championships Doha 2019. Russia's Anzhelika Sidorova cleared 5.95 to the event. Sandi Morris of the United States like two years ago on London was second with 5.90m as defending champion Ekaterina Stefanidi took bronze with 5.85m. American Christian Taylor won hos fourth World championships gold in the triple jump in Doha on Sunday. In round 5, Taylor achieved 17.92m to beat compatriot Will Clay into second.

Team USA (Wilbert London, Allyson Felix, Courtney Okolo, and Michael Chery, won the global title in Doha on Sunday in a new World record time of 3:09.34. Jamaicans (3:11.78 NR) finished in second while Burundi team (3:11.82) concluded the podium. Allyson Felix won 12th world championships gold and 17th medal at global championships.

Kenenisa Bekele produced a sensational comeback win in the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON, missing the world record by just two seconds with 2:01:41. The 37 year-old Ethiopian became the second fastest runner of all time. He ran a world lead and a national record in a phenomenal performance. In fine weather conditions, fellow-Ethiopian Ashete Bekere took the women’s race in 2:20:14.
