Men's 1000m: Kamila Skolimowska memorial 2019. In a dramatic men's 1000m race Polish runners finished 1-2-3. Before the last bend Adam Kszczot, who was running on inside lane tried to take the lead by passing Michal Rozmys, who was running in lane 2. Rozmys sharply moved to lane one and elbowed hard Kszczot. Kszczot lost his balance and almost went down but miraculously managed to stay on his feet. Meanwhile, From outside Marcin Lewandowski kicked hard to pass Kszczot and Rozmys and won the race comfortably in 2:21.01. Adam Kszczot finished in second in 2:21.42 while Michal Rozmys took third in 2:21.72. After the race, Kszczot expressed his disappointment to Rozmys by pointing him that he was an "idiot".

Women's long jump: Diamond League Fina Brussels 2019. Malaika Mihambo jumped massive 7.03m to win the long jump over Wolrd and Olympic champion Brittney Reese (6.85m) and Katarina Johnson-Thompson (6.73m). It was also the 6th competition for Mihambo this season where she jumps over 7m mark.
