Kingston College’s Wayne Pinnock created history when he destroyed the Class I Boys long jump record on Wednesday, day two of the ISSA Grace Kennedy Boys and Girls Championships (Champs) in Kingston. Pinnock jumped 8.05m, which secured the Class 1 gold medal and to break the 26-year-old record of 7.87m that was set by Leon Gordon of Vere Technical in 1993.
